How to treat Anemia?

Anemia is the condition where the person may suffer from insufficient red blood cells or hemoglobin. It is caused by either decrease in the production of red blood cells or loss of blood. This is one of the most common disorders of blood from youngsters to elders. When the number of red blood cells or the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood is low, then it is said to be anemia. Hemoglobin helps in the transportation of oxygen to various parts of the body. Anemia is most common in women. There are several reasons for anemia and they can be grouped as follows:
• Blood loss anemia
• Blood cell destruction anemia
• Deficient red cell production anemia.

Iron deficiency causes anemia.Iron is the vital component of hemoglobin and its proper function. Iron deficiency anemia is cured by healthy diet changes and iron supplements. A diet should be taken with enough iron, folic acid and vitamin B12. Sometimes bone marrow a softy, spongy tissue can be affected by a number of diseases including leukemia, where abnormal white blood cells are produced in excess, which disrupts the normal production of red blood cells causing anemia. Bone marrow produces stem cells, which will developed into red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.It is also caused when red blood cells are misshapen and break down abnormally quickly. Another type of anemia is our body immune system mistakenly finds own red blood cells as foreign substances and breaks it down. This may cause due to severe tension, infections or through some antibiotics.

Common Symptoms are

  • Feeling tired
  • Fatigue
  • Appearing pale
  • Short of breath
  • Easily fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Hair loss

Home remedies to end Anemia

Finger Millet (Ragi) contains more calcium than calcium in the milk. While eating it, rigorous immune antibody increases and cures menstrual problems for women. It also helps in reducing body weight. It is rich in iron,calcium and prevents anemia.

Ragi is very good for pregnant women. It has protein,mineral salt,calcium,iron and nutrients. Diabetes patients can also add it in their diet.

Spinach is a rich source of calcium, Vitamins A, Vitamin E and Vitamin C, iron, fiber and beta carotene. Make sure that you add spinach in your daily diet to increase the blood in your body or at-least thrice in a week

Beetroot  is rich in iron content. It helps in repairing and reactivating your red blood cells. It stimulate red blood cell production and build stamina.

Red Meat is  a great source of Vitamin B12. It is said that the beef liver has your daily requirements of iron.

Pomegranate is the best fruits that contain a rich source of iron and Vitamin C . It helps in improving the blood flow and also very effective in treating anemic symptoms like weakness, dizziness, exhaustion and even loss of hearing. Eat a pomegranate every day to reduce the anemic symptoms and is very good for health.

Soy Beans are a great source of iron and vitamins. Soybean has low fat and high protein food that fights anemia.

Apple And Dates helps in boosting the iron levels in the body. The Vitamin C in the apple helps to maintain good body health. Dates also contain high quantities of iron and add it in your daily diet.

Curry Leaves are rich source of iron and other nutrients having plenty of health benefits. Grind a bunch of curry leaves to fine paste and add it in lime juice and consume this drink regularly. You can also drink it in empty stomach by adding this paste in butter milk. By regularly in taking this , we can treat anemia easily.
